The house was restored using natural materials with much use of oak so as to retain the original character of the property. The front door to the property is privately situated away from the courtyard and is approached on a gravel path through a beautiful flower garden where butterflies dance. This side of the house faces east and is a perfect suntrap in the morning. Garden benches enable you to enjoy a relaxed cuppa before your activity-filled day.
Most of the rooms in the house are west facing so that light floods through them. There are beautiful views of spectacular sunsets.
The living accommodation is all on one level with living room, kitchen, main bathroom and three bedrooms (one with en-suite). The front door opens into a wood floored hallway where there is plenty of storage and hooks for coats and outdoor footwear. In addition, there is a large garage available for storage of bikes/surfboards etc.
The living room has windows over the courtyard and over the garden. It is a beautifully light, spacious room with wood flooring and a cosy rug. A large sofa and easy chairs comfortably accommodate 6 people. There is a wood burning stove for the winter months (logs available).
The room has a TV, DVD player, CD player (with iPod connector), books and board games.
The kitchen has two windows overlooking the garden. The table comfortably seats 6 and provides the perfect setting for enjoying a relaxed meal, perhaps of Porthgain shellfish or the incomparable beef from the local Welsh Black herds.
There is an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and iPod docking station.
We have equipped the kitchen for our own use and you will find a very good range of quality utensils, crockery and cookware.
All of the bedrooms have good quality beds and mattresses, bedside lights, chests of drawers and plenty of hanging and storage space. Linen and towels (although not for the beach) are provided.
The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with en suite shower room/WC. This room has windows to front and rear.
There are two further bedrooms:
The family bathroom is adjacent to the double room and has bath, shower, hand basin and WC.
The large, open garden, which is reached around the side of the house or from the back door out of the kitchen, is mainly laid to lawn and is surrounded by a traditional Pembrokeshire bank beyond which are open fields There is a patio area with oak table and benches.

Garage situated 75 metres from the house offers lots of room to store bikes, surfboards, wet suits etc.
Parking for up to 2 cars at the house
The property is approached via a minor road. From this road you turn into a short gravel driveway into the Courtyard across common parts and into our front garden. There is parking for 2 cars at the front of the property. The front garden and parking area slopes very gently down to the front of the house. The gravel path off the driveway to the front door is 95 cm at its narrowest. There is access to the side garden up a gravel path off the front garden.
The width of the front door is 80cm. There is a 12 cm high step up to the front door and a further step of 11 cm to get you into the hall. The width of the interior doors for access purposes is 70cm.
Inside, the whole of the ground floor is on one level with no steps, but there are some minor changes of floor level passing from wood flooring in the hallway onto carpet in bedrooms or kitchen ceramic tiles. There is a 3 cm drop from the hall into the kitchen, and a 1 cm drop from the hallway into the other rooms off the hallway.
There are 10 open tread stairs leading out of the living room to get to the Crog-loft sleeping area; they are moderately steep. There are wooden banisters up the side of the stairs and a hand rail on the wall side. Width of the tread is 70 cm and the depth of the tread is 20 cm. There is limited head room in the crog loft area.
There is a door from the kitchen out on to the side garden area. The width of this door is 78cm. There is a 10 cm drop in three levels of drop: 3, 2 and 5 cm on to a large slate flag, then an area of gravel and then rough ground which will become a patio area. There are a picnic table and benches on the patio area. From the patio area there is a large area of grass, above the patio area , accessed by stepping up a grassy drop of varying heights, of no more than 50 cm.
External lights to front and rear doors are operated by switches inside the doors.
Light switches and power switches are at a sensible height.
There are remote controls for the DVD, TV and i-pod.
There is mobile phone reception on most networks except O2. There is no fixed internet access at the property.
There is public transport from the village of Croes Goch 1 mile away.
