Sea pinks on Skomer island

Hendy Cart is a stone walled, slate roofed, barn conversion, one of 6 barns formerly part of the nearby farm. The semi detached house is approached off a quiet country lane and occupies a secluded and private location with views over open farmland and beyond to the coastal hills of Carn Penberi and Carn Llidi.

The house was restored using natural materials with much use of oak so as to retain the original character of the property. The front door to the property is privately situated away from the courtyard and is approached on a gravel path through a beautiful flower garden where butterflies dance. This side of the house faces east and is a perfect suntrap in the morning. Garden benches enable you to enjoy a relaxed cuppa before your activity-filled day.

Most of the rooms in the house are west facing so that light floods through them. There are beautiful views of spectacular sunsets.

The living accommodation is all on one level with living room, kitchen, main bathroom and three bedrooms (one with en-suite). The front door opens into a wood floored hallway where there is plenty of storage and hooks for coats and outdoor footwear. In addition, there is a large garage available for storage of bikes/surfboards etc.

The kitchen has two windows overlooking the garden. The table comfortably seats 6 and provides the perfect setting for enjoying a relaxed meal, perhaps of Porthgain shellfish or the incomparable beef from the local Welsh Black herds.
