The Area
The house is situated within very easy reach of beautiful beaches and stunning coastal scenery. There are lots of ways to spend a wonderful holiday, including surfing, sailing, horse riding, climbing, fishing, cycling and boat trips to world famous bird sanctuaries.
The Pembrokeshire coastal path and other footpaths offer many walking opportunities with fabulous views
The house is less than 15 minutes drive from the lovely cathedral city (in fact no more than a large village) of St David's with its restaurants and other amenities
It is 5 minutes drive to the fishing village of Porthgain with the famous Sloop Inn, art galleries and renowned seafood restaurant, the Shed.
Pentre Ifan is a Bronze-Age megalithic site dating from at least 4000 B.C. It is probably the finest Welsh hilltop megalith (mega-lith = large stones). It is said to have been originally constructed as a burial chamber, but has been denuded of earth over several thousand years.
St Justinian is a "classic" lifeboat station, built up on stilts above the water, with the boat launching down a slipway to hit the water at speed. You can visit the boathouse in exchange for a donation.
